Scope of Services… We provide: Depending on the scope of your project, The River Group can: Facilitate in-depth market, customer and product research and analysis. Establish and coach a selection team on vendor and equipment options. Develop project specifications. Solicit, review and validate vendors’ proposals to assure that departmental, clinical, technical and architectural specifications are met. Coordinate vendor presentations, trials and evaluations. Facilitate procurement process. Review staff education needs, resources and responsibilities. Review warranty and post warranty support plans. Coordinate implementation team (nursing, engineering, contractors, biomedical engineering, vendors, facilities staff, etc.) Review layout and construction plans. Oversee system installation (deliveries, inspections, cable pulling / management, millwork, device locations and mounting, supplies, configurations, end-user training, etc.) Coordinate additional project resources including market analysis, architectural design, network and cabling infrastructure, power, millwork, equipment location and installation. Facilitate state inspection preparedness. Review,develop and guide asset management and biomedical technology support solutions.

Bios…
Nat Stern, Managing Director - began his career in the healthcare industry as a Biomedical Engineer in NYC. After developing his expertise in patient monitoring, diagnostic imaging and clinical laboratory systems, he turned to the private sector where he managed both support and sales operations for a number of Fortune 500 medical technology companies. His experience in overseeing complex capital projects, negotiating strategic partnerships, and managing multi-disciplinary teams coupled with his passion to provide a higher level of support and client satisfaction to the healthcare technology consulting field lead to the formation of The River Group, LLC.
Nat is a Summa Cum Laude graduate of Fairleigh Dickinson University, and has worked for such renowned organizations as The New York Hospital / Cornell Medical Center, Hewlett-Packard, Honeywell and Philips Medical Systems. His customers have included; North Shore-LIJ, NY Presbyterian Hospital, Atlantic Health Systems, NYC Health & Hospital’s Corp., Montefiore Medical Center, Catholic Health Systems of LI, Hackensack University Medical Center, Maimonides Medical Center, St. Vincent’s Hospital, Westchester Medical Center, The Valley Hospital, and St. Luke’s – Roosevelt Hospital. He has worked on numerous renovation and new construction projects alongside a wide range of design, vendor, equipment planning, end-user, and construction teams in the Metro NY / NJ geography.
